Most people believe that global warming is the dominating crisis in the world today. A majority has a rather good idea of what it is, how it's caused and how it can be reduced. It remains as a hot topic for school curriculums and is sometimes the theme of dinner table conversations. Yet, what people don't know about are other world problems that remains as a potential danger for everyone and everything. Do people know that half of the entire world - over three billion people - live on less than $2.50 a day? Do they know that according to UNICEF, 26500-30000 children die each day due to poverty, or that 1 billion out of 2.2 billion children's lives are ruined by it? With barely enough money to pass by each day, these children have no chance to receive education, being or will be forced to work laborious jobs to compensate for their lack of academic knowledge. A high-quality education in a beautiful school environment, a loving family and a luxurious home, most of the fortunate are blind to what they have. But now, since we are young enough to dream big and old enough to start small, we have the potential to change this situation, one step at a time. Our mission is to provide accurate and good-quality foreign language education to schools that are too poor to get it themselves, and to raise money to send other children to school. Our mission is to change the lives of the children struggling in poverty, and in doing so, help change the world itself. And when people ask us why, we'll have a simple answer in store for them: because we can.
